SourceCorp PIF SourceCorp "Pay It Forward 2011"

Pay It Forward embraces the idea that instead of paying it back, we pay it forward. As an entirely volunteer service team of SourceCorp, we realize that life is filled with unexpected detours - our purpose is to serve our clients and team members - in their communities and ours. Whether that means lending a hand building a home for the homeless, providing food for the hungry, or giving Christmas toys to orphaned children, we exist to Pay It Forward.

2011 – Five for Life

Employees participate in a voluntary program called "Five for Life". The program is based on the idea that by giving just five dollars from each paycheck, we can help make a big difference in our company "family", as well as our surrounding community. Those who join in are free to choose any amount they wish to give. At the end of the year, the funds are distributed to charities that were picked from a list of worthy causes, as well as a fund that is used to help employees in times of need or to help other miscellaneous causes – for example, people or areas that have experienced a sudden disaster. The beneficiaries for 2011 are:

  • Cook's Children's Hospital
  • Meals on Wheels
  • Union Gospel Mission
  • SourceCorp Pay It Forward Fund

In 2011, the "Five for Life" program raised enough money to give a $3,000 check to each of our 3 charities - Cook's Children's Hospital, Meals on Wheels, and Union Gospel Mission. The PIF fund was also able to help various employees and contribute to other needs throughout the year.

Throughout the year, employees distribute meals each week to Meals on Wheels recipients near the Fort Worth office.  Then in December, employees adopt the delivery route in order to distribute Holiday Gifts.

The employees were also able to participate in a Home Improvement Project for one of our Meals on Wheels recipients – they painted her house.

2011 – Union Gospel Mission

In addition to serving 2 meals during the year, we were able to “Adopt a Room” to be updated, so that one of the ladies staying there could have her room redecorated.
